Fume Hood

A fume hood is a ventilation system that provides protection to personnel against toxic vapors, fumes, dust and other harmful materials. Besides this, it also provides protection against runaway reaction, fire as well as chemical spill by creating a physical barrier. It is designed with a full polypropylene interior as well as exterior without using metal to make it ideal for any sensitive work like trace metal analysis. Its exceptional perforated baffle design ensures stress-relieved, bend and acid-resistant performance. The tapered PP collar decreases static pressure loss, airflow turbulence as well as noise level.

Features:

  • Maintains a constant volume at every location when the system flow rates change
  • Continuous flow monitoring with a monitor
  • Unique designs for complete safety and convenience
  • Slide-out feature allows easy top replacement without lifting the hood structure

FH1800(P)
Fume Hood provides localized ventilation at the contaminant source. It can be easily positioned to remove fumes or airborne particulates. This air cleaning system capture and remove smoke, dust, mist, and fumes before they enter the work area, then recirculates clean air back into the workplace. In addition to being highly corrosion resistant, the condensed vapors can react with hood gaskets, greases and other collected materials to form explosive perchloric salts and esters.

This Fume Hood FH(P) Series is a type of ventilation system that primarily functions to provide personnel protection against toxic fumes, vapors and dust. Its secondary function includes protection against chemical spills, runaway reactions and fires by acting as a physical barrier. This specialized fume hood is built with robust internal surfaces and a wash-down system of water spray nozzles dispersed throughout the hood. When heated, perchloric acid vaporizes and condenses on hood, duct and fan components.
